As recipients of the Oregon Council 2002 Silver Trout Award, presented to the Tualatin Valley Chapter for our outstanding work in the Tualatin Basin, our commitment to conservation is well noted.  Our membership is active on a number of fronts, both in the field and in the political arena. We continue to work diligently to promote conservation of our native fisheries--especially in our local area watersheds.

Hank Hosfield accepts the USFS Region 6 "Rise to the Future Award" for Recreation Fisheries on the behalf of TVTU.  Standing to the right are USFS Estacada Ranger District fisheries biologist, Tom Horning, and Clackamas River TU President, Paul Vitello, whose CRTU chapter was a co-recipient of this award with TVTU for the numerous conservation projects both chapters have undertaken in the Clackamas River watershed.
